Social work is a dynamic professional and academic discipline focused on applying social theory and research methods to enhance the
lives of individuals, groups, and societies. The program underscores the fundamentals of social work practice, providing specific knowledge and practical skills in areas such as Interpersonal Practice and Innovation in Community, Policy, and Leadership.
Course requirements
- Bachelor (Level 6 Qualification Framework (MOF)) with honors in a relevant field or equivalent of University College Lincoln or other universities with a CGPA of at least 2.50; or
- Bachelor (Level 6 KKM) or equivalent not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years work experience in social work or other related fields; or
- For international students:
Lecture score of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 500, international English Language Test System (IELTS) 5.0 or other equivalent qualification for international students. If students do not meet these criteria, HEPs must offer English courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the program requirements.
